Leola Virginia James Obituary

Leola Virginia Jones James, 93, of Mouth of Wilson, died Friday, Dec.17, 2021, at Grayson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Grayson County on Oct. 15, 1928, to the late George and Vergie Sparks Jones.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. James.
Survivors include her son, Daryl James and wife, Rhonda, of Mouth of Wilson; daughter, Nancy Cornett and husband, Curtis, of Troutdale; son-in-law, Ralph Russell of Troutdale; brother-in-law, Jim Richardson of Mouth of Wilson; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at the Baptist Union Church in Flat Ridge Community at 2 p.m. Roger Boyer, Tim Boyette, Rick Young and Matthew Lane officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
