Lucia, Sammy, and Michael and families,

It is so sad to hear of Uncle David’s passing. I have very fond memories of his humor and happy personality, especially at family reunions in Ware Shoals at Grandmother’s and on the river. I also enjoyed talking with him about traveling in his motorhome and sharing his experiences. He had a life well lived, and you will have many good memories of him. He had the foresight to incorporate many of the Balentine childhood stories in a book that is treasured by us all.

David was my Brother In-law and I will miss our phone calls though out the last few years! We would talk about our family and the Love we had for them ! We would always end our conversation with “ I LOVE YOU”
