Dear family, this morning I was looking for an old friend met by radio (CB) many many years ago (more than 20).
His name is Donald DePolo and he was from South Carolina (probably from the city of Pelzer). I tried to find him many times since the later years '80 but I've never find him.
I have some letters from him and an old photo of Donald that was fishing on a jetty (so it appears).
I find on-line this obituary. I don't know if your loved one is also my friend Donald, but If so, please receive my deep condolences.
If not, please forgive me.

Although I didn't know you personally, Gus is a very special person to Russ and me and the Outdoor Lab. We've worked with him during PUSH camp and summer camp. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the rest of the family.

To a wonderful friend to whom I have know for over 30 years. Don was a 1 of a kind, with a heart of a lion but as tender as a child. To all of your family I will keep in my prayers as I know God is tending to you now. The family, you had a great dad and a dear man. Blessed was the time he was with us all.

Dad,
Through the good and the bad I have always loved you and still do. I thank God He allowed me to have a dad like you. I know you are no longer in pain, and you have found peace. I love you always until the day after forever. Your daughter *which I am proud to say*
