It is with kind thoughts and loving hearts that we extend our prayers that God will embrace each of you in his continued care during this time and the days ahead. We were with Eva at the ACTS Alumni July 2009 and as so many times before shared memories that we have from 1946 to now.

I enjoyed working with Eva at Lila Doyle. We worked hard, but we always
kept our humor going. She was a smart
and beautiful lady, who dearly loved her family and friends. We shared many
special moments working with our geriatric patients! I was very young
when I worked with Eva, but she taught
me how to perservere and to do the best
job you can! Many blessings to her
family, you can truly be proud of this
wonderful wife,mother, grandmother,
nurse, and friend to many!

Eva was a wonderful mother-in-law to me for 26 years and has always been a terrific grandmother to David and Tara. When my own mother passed away in 1994, she stepped in as her surrogate. I never saw Eva without a smile, or the pleasant personality to match that smile. My sincere condolences to James and the Greenlee family. She will be missed. Linda (Columbia, SC)

I know she is in a better place and her memory will forever live on. She was a blessing to many people and most of all to me.

Dear Shug and Greenlee Family,
I was saddened to hear of Mrs. Eva's death. She was one of the sweetest persons I have had the pleasure of knowing. She always greeted me with
a smile and I loved to talk with her. I know you all will miss her dearly.
However, I pray you will be comforted by her words of wisdom left with
you and her precious memories tucked in your hearts.
God has promised, that when we die (absent from the body), we are in
the presence of the Lord. We must exchange our body of flesh for a
spiritual body in order to see Him. But “at the sound of the last trump the
dead will be raised. We will be changed, so that we will never die again...Then the Scriptures will come true, ‘Death has lost the battle!...thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory!!”(I Cor. 15:52b, 54, 57)
Continue to work for the Lord so that you may be united with Mrs. Eva one day!
