Fredric Woodrum Obituary

FREDRIC LEE WOODRUM SENECA, SC â€" Fredric Lee Woodrum, 69, husband of Peggy Ann Phillips Woodrum, of Seneca, SC, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Charleston, WV, he was a son of the late Carl Frederick Woodrum and Mary Frances Feamster Woodrum. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was of the Methodist faith. As he enjoyed baseball, he was a former Little League Coach and an Atlanta Braves fan. Mr. Woodrum was a computer enthusiast and also enjoyed music and playing the guitar. Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his son, William David Woodrum of Hartwell, GA; his daughter, Cynthia Ann Woodrum of Fairfax, VA; his daughter-in-law, Andrea Abraham Woodrum of Hartwell, GA; and two grandchildren, Brook and Amanda. The family will receive friends 1:15-2:00PM Monday, March 3, 2008 at the funeral home. A funeral will be held at 2:00PM Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Davenport Funeral Home Chapel, Walhalla, SC. Following a private interment, a reception will be held at the clubhouse at Cliffabee Leas. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Mr. Woodrum’s name may be made to the Oconee Memorial Hospital Critical Care Unit, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
