Anderson, SC
ANDERSON- Jerry Aiken Martin passed away on February 5, 2018 after a five year battle with Alzheimer disease. He was 80 years old.
A native of Anderson, SC he was the son of the late John E. and Gladys Aiken Martin. His greatest joy was working with his father on the family dairy farm in the Hopewell community. He also worked with Wometco Food Services andAnderson School District Five. Mr. Martin honored his country by serving in the South Carolina National Guard for twenty two years.
Survivingare his siblings: Thomas Raymond (Doris) Martin, David K. (Doris) Martin, Shirley M. (Henry) Bone all of Anderson, SCand Johnnie M. (Gordon) Lawton of Florida.
Graveside services will be heldat 2:30 PM, Friday, March 9, atForest Lawn Memorial Park, conducted by Dr. Jack Couch. Visitation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made tothe Alzheimer'sAssociation,4124 Clemson Blvd Ste L, Anderson, SC 29621 or Boulevard Baptist Church, 700 Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621.
