Kenneth Rodney Scott, 56, entered into eternal glory on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at An Med Health. He was born on January 24,1961 to the late Leo and Tecora Geneva Scott.
Kenneth, Rodney to his family, was a devoted member of Generostee Baptist Church where he faithfully served on the Culinary Committee and was a member of the Gentlemen By Choice Ministry.

Kenneth was a graduate of Westside High School class of 1979 and dedicated member of the Booster Club.
Kenneth worked in Restaurant Management for several years until his health declined . He did continue to pursue his love for cooking by catering for special events and family gatherings.
Kenneth leaves to mourn his wife of nineteen years, Dawn Mobley Scott, three beautiful children of the home Dejah, Chauncey and Catherine; brother, Edgar (Elizabeth) and sister Elaine Scott-Mattison. A daughter Chasity Young (John) grandson, Izzy; nephews, Leonardo (Donna), Kardan, Justin, Jaxson and C.J. nieces, Jaida and Jordyn; a special sister, Susan Gray; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother Alvin Leo Scott.
The family is at home of his brother, Edgar Scott, 14 Old American Blvd. Pendleton, S. C.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Generostee Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service.

My heartfelt sympathies to Dawn, Dejah, Chauncey, and Cat. I only met Kenneth once, and like Dawn, he too was a wonderful person. In Hebrew we say Alav ha shalom, may he rest in peace.
