Pendleton, SC
Micah Keith Looper, 70, of Five Forks Road, passed away, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born March 17, 1947 in Pelzer, he was the son of the late Paul and Marie McCombs Looper. Micah was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from Clemson Downs in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of Six and Twenty Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Melton Looper of the home; daughter, Michelle Funk and her husband, Chad of Pendleton; grandson, Houston Funk and three sisters, Brenda Lee of Greenville, Julia Lavern Mahoney of Bluffton, and Teresa Stevenson of Gainesville, GA. Micah was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Looper.
Funeral service will be held at 3pm Friday at Six & Twenty Baptist Church with Rev Douglas Goss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3pm prior to the service at the church. The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Six & Twenty Baptist Church, Youth Fund.
