Robert H. Bargstedt

Robert H. Bargstedt, 64 of 186 Old Friar Rd. in Aiken, SC died August 3, at his home of Cancer. Born in Esperance, NY, he was a dairy farmer in Elberton, GA for 15 yrs and was employed at Russell Dam 3 yrs. He also worked at Savannah River Site, Aiken SC 13 yrs and was a 15 yrs member of Local 470 Union of Operating Engineers. He then was a truck driver for the past 12 years. He was of the Roman Catholic faith. Survivors include his widow, Arlene Bargstedt of the home, daughter, ANgel Garrett of Elberton, 3 sons: RObby Bargstedt of North Augusta, SC, Charles Ted Bargstedt of Langley SC, David Bargstedt of beech Island SC. sister-n-law, Ann Krolikowske of Augusta, GA, nephew, Mark RIdgeway jr of North Augusta, SC, 4 grandchildren, Aleah and Britany Bargstedt, Jake and Luke Garrett, and his many nieces and nephews. 3 brothers; George Bargstedt of Fonda NY, Ernest and Walter Bargstedt of Amsterdam, NY. There will be no funeral services. Beig a kind and generous man, he donated his body to The Medical College of Georgia. Memorials may be made to Chapter 43 Disabled AMerican Veterans, P.O.
