Barbara Kiser Obituary

CONCORD - Mrs. Barbara Jean Clayton Kiser, 68, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 9, 2010. She was at CMC-NorthEast. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, at Calvary Foursquare Church, with the Rev. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Barbara was one of six daughters born to the late Bill and Ruby Harrington Clayton (Sells) on Sept. 18, 1941. She was a beloved mother, sister and grandmother. She was also a dedicated worker, having worked at Cannon Mills for 45 years in the sheet department at Plant #6. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 1993. Mrs. Kiser is survived by her sons, Gary Wayne Little and his wife, Terri, of Salisbury, and Timmie Little, of Kannapolis; five sisters, Brenda Barnhardt, Sandra Measamer and Peggy Morgan, all of Concord, Vickie Winburn, of Landis, and Helen White, of Rockwell; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to cancer research at the Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714. Condolences and memories may be left at www.wilkinsonfuneralhome.com. Wilkinson Funeral Home is serving the family.
