Benjamin Lutin Obituary
August 19, 2001 - January 5, 2021
Our beloved Benjamin Stephen Lutin left this earth much too soon, Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, to spend eternity in Heaven, at the age of 19.
He was born Aug. 19, 2001, to Catherine Storey Lutin and Jonathan Edward Lutin. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Barry Stephen Lutin and Frederick Bert Storey and his late wife, Ruth.
Loved by everyone, he will be remembered for being a computer genius and a sweet young man.
Ben is survived by his parents, Catherine Lutin and Jonathan Lutin; his stepmother, Ayanna Wakefield; his siblings, Emily Mansfield Lutin, Maxwell Edward Lutin, and Elijah Charles Emery Wakefield; his grandparents, Lisa and Butch Gagnon; Betty Storey; his stepgrandmother, Cherie Castiglione; his two uncles, Erik Storey and partner, Rodrigo Vargas and Lawrence Storey and wife, Bridget Murphy; his aunts, Jessica Lutin Klein, Pamela Lutin Shaplin and husband, Peter, and Emily Lutin Fuentes and husband, Charlie. Ben is also survived by his nine first cousins, many extended family members, and friends.
Ben graduated from Cox Mill High School in 2019 with a GPA of 3.9. He completed three certifications in computer programming from R.C.C.C before graduating high school. Ben was employed with Code Ninjas in Concord and Ballantyne as sensei and assistant director.
He was nominated by his employers for Code Ninjas 2020 Sensei of the Year, nationally. He wrestled for Cox Mill, loved weight training and fitness. Ben's passions were computer programming, stocks, skateboarding, Bitcoin, playing chess, friends, and family.
On Saturday, Jan. 16, the family will have a private ceremony at 10 a.m. that will be livestreamed, followed by a public visitation from 12 to 3 p.m., at 11959 Ramah Church Rd. in Huntersville. Please use the virtual sign up at www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4da4ae2aa4fcce9-benlutin.
