Kannapolis - Demonte Tyree Sherrill, 30 of Hunteridge Lane, Kannapolis, N.C. departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Charlotte, N.C.
He was born January 14, 1993 in Cabarrus County to the Terry Campbell, Sr., and Onita Sherrill. Demonte was educated in the Cabarrus County Schools and was currently employed in construction.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 5835 Charlie Walker Road, Kannapolis, N.C. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m. with memorial services at 2 p.m.
Those left to cherish fond memories include, two daughters, Yolanda Vinson, and Jasmine Vinson both of Kannapolis, N.C.; two sons, Christopher Vinson, and Elijah Sherrill both of Kannapolis, N.C.; his father, Terry Campbell, Sr. (Anya) of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Onita Sherrill of Kannapolis, N.C.; two sisters, Morticia Black of Kannapolis, N.C. and Brianna Campbell of Charlotte, N.C.; five brothers, Terry Campbell, Jr., Jalan Johnson, Kristopher Campbell all of Kannapolis, N.C., Ke'Shawn Williams and Jayden Williams both of Charlotte, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Margaret Diane Campbell of Kannapolis, N.C.; two aunts, Crystal Campbell of High Point, N.C., Cherelle Eddleman (Rev. William, Jr.) of Concord, N.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
