CONCORD - Dominick Joseph Bartolomeo went to his final home with the Lord on June 16, 2009, joining his wife, Helen, and daughter, Barbara. A memorial service for Dominick will be 7 p.m. Friday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Marvin Goodnight. The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home, 905 Evelyn Avenue, Kannapolis. He was born Nov. 5, 1926 in Queens, N.Y. to the late Joseph and Mildred Garafola Bartolomeo. He was a man who was loved by all that knew him, and is loved and admired by all that he leaves behind. Dominick is survived by his children; Bill of Colorado, Jimmy of New York, Janice, Diane, and Michael of Vermont, Patti, Laurie, Joey, and Peter of North Carolina; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy, Luke, Joey, and sister, Barbara Landers.
