Jefferson Stack Obituary
Mr. Jefferson Junius Stack, 96, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at his home in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, June 17, at Midway United Methodist Church. The Rev. Craig Allen will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., Friday, at Midway United Methodist Church.
Mr. Stack was born Aug. 20, 1925, in Kannapolis. He was a son of the late Jefferson Junius Jeneers Stack and Pearl Price Stack. He was a life member of the Allen-Graham Masonic Lodge and a longtime member of Midway United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters; and five bothers.
Mr. Stack is survived by his wife, Betty Jordan Stack; three children, Keith Stack and wife, Darlene, of Kannapolis, Jill Greene and husband, Stan, of Norwood and Janet Stack of China Grove; three stepchildren, Benita Ballard and husband, Mark, of Salisbury, Pam Higgins and husband, Bill, of Burgaw and Judy Sobo and husband, Phil, of Cornelius; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
