Keith Widenhouse Obituary
May 9, 1946 - April 28, 2024
Mr. Keith Cox Widenhouse passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his home.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 7th at Center Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 8055 Highway 200, Midland, NC, officiated by Rev. Alan Thompson. The family will receive friends following the service.
Keith was born May 9, 1946, in Concord to the late Aubrey Wilson Widenhouse and Elsie Cox Widenhouse. He was also preceded in death by his son, Bryant Keith Widenhouse; grandson, Pearson Widenhouse Whitaker; brother, A.W. Widenhouse, Jr.; and girlfriend, Suzanne "Suzi" Cecil.
Keith was retired owner of Widenhouse Auto Sales and later from the North Carolina ABC Commission. He enjoyed golf, fishing, playing poker, and being a great DAD, supporting his boys in all their activities.
Keith is survived by his son, Kristopher "Kris" Wilson Widenhouse and wife, Amber; Kris' mother, Sue Widenhouse; grandchildren, Alyssa Widenhouse, and Ian Widenhouse; a host of extended family members.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to the V.F.W., 480 Veterans Drive SE, Concord, NC 28025.
