Fran & Family, Phil was one of the most interesting man, and he touched so many along his wake of life. His kindness, his gentleness, and courage touched us all. His faith shined on many of us who had such little faith. He loved his god and his church and showed it in every way that he could. His memories will live on for many years to come. Phil is going to be missed by many. He was such a great help when my husband, John, had cancer. He came to our house and sat and talked with John and myself many times. He helped us through such a very tough time. I was so fortunate to have know him. My prayers are with his wife and all the family,

today the world lost a magnificent man, not only was he my grandfather but he was one of my best friends. I guess some would say he lost his battle with cancer but i can't say i would look at it as if he lost, but that there was a tie, cancer was strong but so was he and when push came to shove neither wanted to loose so they both shook hands and said enough is enough. He made a fantastic request to god to bring us little Kahlen who I know brougt much joy to his life. Kahlen was his angel that gave him a reason to hang on and now in return I believe she has him as her angel to watch over her and hopefully me as well. So just remember to take each day by the horns and its ok to tie, just make sure to give it your all, I just wish i knew how to harniss up the wind and say good bye
RIP Poppy, you will forever be missed, never forgotten, oh the stories we will all tell

Over the course of 82 years one’s life touches many. Phil came into my life some 35 years ago while we were working for IBM in Endicott. Although our association was brief, lasting only a few years, I have always retained fond memories of Phil; his enthusiasm, his congeniality, and his sense of humor. I am glad to have been able to call Phil a friend.
