Richard Ohsowski CONCORD Mr. Richard J. Ohsowski, 82, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Tucker Hospice House. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today (Sunday, Dec. 16), at Wilkinson Funeral Home, and Monday, Dec. 17, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at St. James the Greater Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with Father Joseph Dionne C.Ss.R, officiating. Burial will follow at the St. James Catholic Church cemetery. Richard was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Wayne County, Mich., son of the late Joseph and Catherine Graczyk Ohsowski. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Salach, Tillie Nadolski, Delores Hudson, Virginia Sweeny and Catherine Ohsowski; and brothers, Joseph, Harold, Lawrence (Skinny) and Robert Ohsowski. Richard lived and worked in Michigan, retiring from Riverside High School in 1984. He moved to Concord and worked for the Sisters of Mercy in Belmont for 22 years before retiring in 2010. He was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church. Survivors include his sister, Charlotte Ohsowski, of Concord; and brother, Don Ohsowski and wife, Lucille, of Taylor, Mich. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
