Shirley Freeman Obituary

Shirley Ann Freeman, 90 of Mt. Pleasant N.C., passed away on November 26, 2025. She was born in Kannapolis on February 2, 1935 to the late Caroline and James Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Frances Neal and Dorothy Jenkins; two brothers, Billy Frank Smith and James C. Smith. She leaves behind her husband , Samuel "Pete" Freeman, her son, Derrick (Barbara) Freeman, and her stepdaughter, Patricia Wilkerson.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Zion Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church located at 9001 Reid Street in Mt. Pleasant, N.C. The visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home Inc. will be serving the family.
