Dolores Quinn

Dolores M. (Petrilli) Quinn, of St. Joseph, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y.

She was born in Endicott, N.Y., to the late Fred and Mary (Pozzi) Petrilli.

She is survived by a daughter, Maureen; son and daughter-in-law, J.J. and Marie:, three grandchildren, Ali Elizabeth, Austin, and Spencer Quinn; and sister-in-law, Barbara Petrilli; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband John V., daughter Mary Elizabeth, sister, Marie Majka, and two brothers Louis and Fred.

Dolores was a long time member of St. Josephs Parish and its Altar & Rosary Society. She was very active in the community, she served for 20 years on the Montrose School Board and was also President. She sat for many years at the polls checking in voters, and loved BINGO, playing cards, and cooking for people. Most all of her family and friends were most important to Dolores.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday morning, Oct. 12, at St. Josephs Parish, with Father Casimir Stanis of St. Joseph's Parish officiating. Arrangements by Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, 64 S. Main St., Montrose. Interment in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
