Harold is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Tuttle Hazen; son, Richard E. Tuttle; a brother-in-law, Harry and Anna Mae Kunsman; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Woolbaugh; and many nieces and nephews.

As a Boy Scout, Harold achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of the Hallstead High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
