Danny Bell Obituary

Wayne Daniel "Danny" Bell, 76, husband of Bonnie Leopard Bell, died Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Grady Henry and Wretha Lewis Bell. Danny retired from Greenwood C.P.W. He was a US Navy veteran, an avid golfer and a devoted fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, often spending his weekends cheering for his favorite team and hitting the links at The Fort Golf Club.

Danny is survived by his wife, Bonnie; two brothers, Tony Bell and Darby Bell (Rosemary) and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Rogers Bell and two brothers, Melvin Bell and Ronnie Bell.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Greenwood Community Church of the Nazarene.

Harley Funeral Home and Crematory (harleyfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
