Edward Elmore Obituary

Edward Lee Elmore Edward Lee Elmore 59 of 1450 Vicyory Street, entered eternal rest on December 3 , 2018 at Providence Hospital in Columbia SC. He was born January 13, 1959 to the late Mary Elmore Jenkins, and John Henry Elmore in Abbeville County. He was a life long member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Edward was a great person who was extremely loved by his family. He loved to smile, inspite of what he endured in life. He was a very independent and honest person.

Edward Lee Elmore was preceded in death by one bother, John Elmore and his loving parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving sisters Ida Mae (Dolphus) Cole of Buffalo, NY, Elease (James) Guillebeaux of Mt. Carmel, Henrietta Grant of Greenwood, Mary ( Norris) Crawford of Abbeville, Peggy (Warren) Martin of Abbeville, and Shirley Elmore of Abbeville; his loving brothers Charles (Sonya) Elmore, William Elmore and James Elmore all of Greenwood; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.

Services are 1 pm Saturday December 8, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 30 Mt. Olive Church Rd, Abbeville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Edward will lay in repose from 12 noon until the hour of service. Public viewing will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 from 1-6pm, family visitation from 6-7pm at the mortuary. Floral arrangements in Edwards memory are excepted at the mortuary. Bishop Emanuel Spearman will be the Eulogist and Rev. Mitchell Neely will preside. The family is at the home of a sister, Peggy(Warren) Martin 806 Gassoway Farm Rd, Abbeville, SC. Professional Services by The Abbeville- White Mortuary
