Leroy Wright Obituary

Greenwood, SC- Leroy Wright, 64, of 707 Whitehall Road, husband of Lula Mae Wright, transitioned from earth to heaven on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he is the son of Emma Jean Wright, and the late Johnnie Wright. He was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church, where he served as the Chairman of the Deacon Board, a choir member, and does everything he can for his church.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Emma Jean Wright of Columbia, SC; his loving wife of "45" years, Lula Mae Wright of the home; one daughter, Nikkita Wright of Greenwood, SC; one son, Leron (Tarrekia) Wright of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Johnnie Frank (Daphne) Wright of Irmo, SC, and Anthony Wright of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Debbie Chisholm and Brenda Wright both of Greenwood, SC; six Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Crossroad Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2024, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected]. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson and Son Mortuary Inc.
