Lillie McKendrick "Kitty Kat" Hearst

Lillie 'Kitty Kat' McKendrick Hearst AUSTELL, Ga. -- Ms. Lillie "Kitty Kat" McKendrick Hearst was born January 17, 1967 in Greenwood, SC, to Mary Lee Hearst and the late Nathaniel Hearst, Sr. She was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2016. She attended school in the Greenwood County school system. At an early age, Lillie Joined Pine Grove AME Church, where she attended Sunday School and Worship Service. She was a member of the Sunbeam Choir. Later down through the years, she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she attended Mt. Zion First Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor John C. Hearst. She was employed by Focus Receivable Management for 10 years as a Collection Manager. Lillie was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Hearst, Sr.; a brother, Alvin Eugene Hearst; a grandmother, Willie Mae Williams; two grandfathers, Roosevelt Williams and Thomas Peterson. She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving mother, Mary Lee Hearst; a special father figure, Larry Anderson; a grandmother, Claudien Peterson; three brothers, Nathaniel (Stellas) Hearst, Jr., Windell (Barbara) Hearst and Vernon (Tenille) Reed, all of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Willie Yvonne Hearst of Austell, GA, and Wanda L. Davis of Greenwood, SC; three nephews, Mondrakus Hearst and Monquavius Hearst, both of Greenwood, SC, and Harry Wharton of Edgewood, MD; five nieces, Shonda (Travil) Rapp, Maesha Hearst and Tommyia Lewis, all of Greenwood, SC, LaToya Nicole Hearst and Amari Hearst, both of Austell, GA; five great-nephews and three great-nieces. Lillie was also the god-mother to three special children, Alvin Myers, Jr., Chanice Griffeth and Kaseiana Meriwheather. She also leaves to cherish beautiful memories, a host of uncles, aunt, family members and friends. Homegoing services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Pine Grove AME Church, with Pastor Jennifer Brown officiating, Rev. John C. Hearst presiding and Rev. Jerome Deal assisting. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers and Flower bearers will be friends of the family. Ms. Hearst will be placed in the church noon.
