Marian Alberta Lagroon

Marian Alberta Lagroon Marian Alberta Moore Lagroon of 110 N. Bethune Street ,widow of Arby B. Lagroon, Sr. departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2019. She was born to the parentage of the late Prelo and Mary Goode Moore on June 15, 1933 in Ninety Six, SC, She was a 1951 graduate of Brewer High School and retired from Capsugel (Lonza) in 1995, after 28 years.

She is survived by her son, Hiram Stanley Lagroon of Conyers, GA, her daughter in law, Patricia Clark Lagroon of Dublin GA, her 4 grandchildren: Patrina Arlette Lagroon, Patrice Arielle Lagroon and Prionna Arnelle Lagroon all of Dublin GA and Armand Renard Lagroon of Dracula,GA. She has 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruby Moore Williams of Greenwood and Marilyn Moore Klugh of West Columbia SC. She was predeceased by her son, Arby B. Lagroon, Jr.

Alberta was a lifelong member of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church in the Epworth Community. Her services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Danny R. Webb officiating and Rev. Michael A. Butler Presiding. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. The family is at the home.
