36, of Cumberland, IN, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 in a tragic motorcycle accident. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with services at 5:00 p.m. at Cumberland First Baptist Church. Hendryx Mortuary is handling arrangements. We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences on Adam's passing.
The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Epworth United Methodist, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
If and when you are ready to do so, please join us for either, or both, meetings.

Joni, Mel, Allison, Eric....my heart is broken for your loss of Adam. I have always cherished my memories of the childhood years when Justin, Lisa and Laura were growing up together with you. I will always remember Adam as my son's best friend during the little years and all the first days of school, the summertimes of bike riding and playing in the hose. I hope you can feel that Adam will always be with you in spirit. Many blessings as you recover during this difficult time.

So very sad to hear about you loved one's passing. My daughter worked with him at the milk company there in Indianapolis and she thought a lot of Adam. She was so shocked and sad when she found out. We pray that the Lord will comfort your family after this awful tragedy. Cherish and hold on to your memories and trust in the Lord.

I've known Adam since we were teenagers, from day one I knew that this guy was one of a kind. He was one of the best people I've ever had the privilege to know. In all the years I've known him I'd never seen him say no to someone who was in need of his help. Occasionally he'd talk me into helping him do whatever it may have been. Given the opportunity though I'd absolutely do it again just so we could cuss & call one another names but at the end of the day we both have a good laugh about it & do it all over again. Adam to me was more than just a friend he was my Brother & I loved him. He will forever be missed by more than he or we may ever know to say the least.
