Alfred (Al) Marino
The Villages, FL - 76, passed away October 23, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Josephine (Sturiale) Marino.
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 53 years, Nancy; beloved sons, Andy (Kristi), and Jeff (Kim); and five amazing grandchildren, Nicky, Sophia, Emma, Tony and Max. He was a beloved brother to Barbara (Marino) Chimiak, Ed Marino and brother-in-law to Carole Friswold, Paul and Bea Friswold and Walter Chimiak.
He will be remembered fondly by his many co-workers at Indiana Blue Cross (now Anthem) and myriad friends in Indiana and Florida where he greatly enjoyed his retirement years. His mind and spirit were ravaged by dementia in his later years, but he is now finally resting in peace.
A celebration of his life will be held at GH Herrmann Funeral Home, 1605 South SR 135, Greenwood, on November 11 from 1-4 PM. The family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project
, a hospice, or charity of your choice
in lieu of flowers.
