Dear Carter Family: I grew up on Maplewood Drive so I've known the family all of my life. Now, living next to Mr Carter for the last 23 years, I have gotten to know the newest generation. Mr Carter was the nicest, most genuine person you'd ever meet. He never had a negative word for anyone; was always smiling; and always found the positive side to every situation.
Although I'm sure that he's very happy to be reunited with Katrina and his children, he will be missed by so many of us.
