Andrew Dimitroff Obituary
24, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, September 04, 2016. Andrew was born on February 16, 1992 in Indianapolis to James Michael and Jeanette Jane (Russell) Dimitroff. Andrew was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and he graduated from Lawrence Central High School class of 2010. Andrew was a service technician for Broad Ripple Heating Cooling and Plumbing.
Calling will be held on Thursday, September 08, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Geist, 7855 Cork Road Indianapolis 46236 from 2 to 8 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 5 p.m. Additional calling will be held on Friday, September 09, 2016 at St. George Orthodox Church, 10748 East 116th Street Fishers, IN beginning at 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Andrew is survived by his parents Jim and Jeanette Dimitroff his siblings Katherine (Adam) Ahlfeld, James D and Jennifer M. Dimitroff, grandparents; Jimmy and Elaine (Agnos) Dimitroff, his aunts; Janice Russell, Sandi (Jim) Bierman, Vicki (Terry) Williamson and Kathi Dimitroff and his uncle Louis (Karen) Dimitroff.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or to the Indiana Donor Network, 3760 Guion Road Indianapolis, IN 46222. Online condolences and a video tribute may be viewed at

We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences on Andrew's passing.
The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.

Jeanette and Family... there are not adequate words that can express my heartfelt sadness and condolences at this time of your deepest grief and heartbreak. I just wanted to let you know that you are being thought of and that prayers are being sent above. No one on this earth will ever be able to answer your questions of why. But, God knows. And while it may seem unfair that your beautiful boy was taken too soon try to understand that his job here on earth was done and that God needed his angel back in heaven. If there is anything that I can do for you and your family please do not hesitate to ask. It would be my greatest honor to serve you and yours.

Sending my sincerest condolences does not seem nearly enough at a time like this. But as the mother of a 24-year-old myself, this really hit home. I won't pretend to understand or comprehend what you, Jeanette and your family must be going through, but rest assured of how many people are praying for you. My prayer is that God brings healing and comfort, and that one day very soon, He will cause something miraculous to result from this tragedy. Due to work-related travel, I am unable to attend the services for your Andrew, but again, sending thoughts and prayers...
