I worked with Dr. Garg for several years when I was working in Bed Control and now at my current job, I would see him occasionally. He was always smiling and he brought a smile that made you smile even if you weren't in the mood. He always brighten my day when I would see him.

Our son Andy is 23 and we have been blessed to have had Dr. Garg as Andy's neurologist all these years. Andy had an appt. to see him on 3/22/12 and we were alarmed to hear that he was ill at that time. Today when I heard the news of his passing I had a rush of fond memories of his sweet laugh and all the knowledge he had and shared. He would laugh and have a twinkle in his eyes when he introduced Andy to one of his many students over the years..."look, look, isn't this wonderful?" as he shook Andy's arms with low muscle tone or showed them his poor reflexes. Then he would just beam at the student's "freaked out" expression when Andy would move, flex his muscles and show how strong he was. It was an honor to have been in his presence and he truly was an ANGEL on earth. Prayers for your family...you will be missed....be at peace!!!

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of "our" Dr. Garg. He had to be the smartest neurologist that Riley Hospital has ever employed.
Our daughter was his patient in 1976 and we will never forget his loving, caring way with her and the other children who were his patients.
He was so kind to our family as our daughter continuted to have seizures, and with his knowlege, he found the right combination of meds to alleviate some of her seizuring. His bright smile will always be remembered.
Our sympathy to your family.

My sincere sympathy to Dr. Garg's family. As a former colleague at Riley, Dr. Garg was a "doctor's-Doctor" and taught me so much. He helped me to be a better physician and I admired his intellect, his grace and his "bedside manner". He truly was a wonderful man who will be missed by many. His name continues to appear as I look in the literature, and search for clinical information about my patients. I will never forget him, or the impact he has had on infants and children with neurological disorders.

My son, Ryan, has been a patient of Dr. Garg for 18 years. Although I consider Dr. Garg a brilliant neurologist, he was a special friend.... I will miss seeing his face light up in smile when he walked into the examining room at Riley Hospital.
.....a kind, gentle, loving man who will be missed deeply.

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Garg. He always believed in her and we certainly believed in him. He helped us through a difficult time when she was experiencing seizures on a regular basis. He would be proud to learn that she will be receiving her doctorate next spring. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the death of a wonderful man.

Dr Bhuvan Garg, a dear nephew, marvelous son, a humble man and a great neurologist!
His absence is a tremendous gap for all of us.
Although it's difficult to see beyond the sorrow of today, the only comfort is to look back in memory lane.
