Charles "Chuck" Eads
Joined his parents and his fellow Army Ranger brothers on November 4, 2012. Due to the aggressive nature of his illness, his departure was very sudden. Chuck served in Viet Nam from 1968 - 1969 with Company D, 151st U.S Army Rangers. His unit was the first National Guard Company to serve in the Viet Nam Conflict. He said it was an honor serving with all of his brothers.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Linda (O'Banion) Eads. His devoted children, Paige (Denny) Thompson, Todd (Carol) Eads, Tiffani (Joel) Niewald and Chad (Kathy) Eads. Eleven loving grandchildren; brother, William (Cindy) Eads and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chuck was an accountant for Jefferson National Life for 23 years, and AFI for 25 years. He was also a volunteer firefighter in Avon through the 1970's.
Chuck and Linda loved to dance, ride the Harley and be with family and friends.
Calling and a time to reminisce will be from 1:00 PM until 4:30 PM on Friday, November 9th at Stout Field National Guard Armory (3912 W. Minnesota St. in Indianapolis) followed by a memorial service at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Guard Relief Fund.

Chuck, you & dad better not get into too much trouble in the Heavenly forests!
I'll never forget the love, kindness & help you gave us last year. You and Linda have been the truest friends to my folks for many years now. You two are more like surrogate parents to me than friends. May God bless and rain down his peace on you, my extended family.

Dear Linda, Being a classmate from Arthur High School, I recall Chuck's love for sports. He was always kind and thoughtful of others.
My heart goes out to you, Linda, and I pray that God gives the strength for the 'journey' of grieving ahead. I have walked in your shoes and know that my God loved and cared for me all the way, even though it was a most traumatic time. May He ever hold you close to His heart as your heart aches for your dear one. Lovingly, Jan
