Christopher Hensel
53, of Westfield, passed away February 5, 2014. Chris was born in Indianapolis, the son of Joseph and Milna (Farlow) Hensel. He was a Senior Systems Administrator with CNO Financial in Carmel. He graduated from Scecina High School and IUPUI. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J. Michael Hensel.
He is survived by his wife, Jami (Fields) Hensel; step-daughter, Morgan Fields of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Tracey Wleklinski (Al) Auburn, IN, Kathryn Beach (Walter) of Indianapolis, IN and Elizabeth Benedict (Will) Trafalgar, IN; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan- Carmel , 325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN 46032, where a celebration of Chris's life well be held at 6:00 p.m.

Many memories as neighbors and childhood friends. (Shinnamon´s) This message comes from Cathy, the oldest. We lost our sister Tracey in May if this year (2022). My heartfelt prayers and condolences are with you girls and you go on in life without your brothers. I lived in Westfield for 16 years and now reside in Greenwood! Blessings to you all.

Jami, I am sorry to hear of your loss of Chris, by way of Cindy C. It has been a while since I worked at Carmel to recall if I met Chris, but I do remember talking to you several times about your sky-diving activities, and, that then-daily commute from T. H. Take care!

I went to school with Chris at St. Philips and at Scecina. We were always in home room together. I'm sure he'll be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Chris.

Haven't seen any of your family in many years and was so shocked to see Christopher's obit in the Johnson county paper. Just moved back to the south of Indy after living in Westfield for 16 years! So very sorry for your loss. God Bless you all. Your childhood friends. Cathy (Shinnamon) Harris.
