I had the opportunity to meet Dan back in 1996 in Cancun when he used to contract our services to ground handle his programs in that destination.
He was indeed a great man, lots of energy and great sense of humor. Then, our business relation became a friendship. Everytime I got to see him at the Trade Shows in Chicago, Las Vegas, he used to stop by to shake hands and get acquainted with our lives.
We will miss him. We lost a great person and industry professional.

Rest in peace my friend Dan..

Dan was a long time friend or ours. We had many dinners, boats rides and concerts. Our love of music was shared my Dan. We never went to each other's home and ever watch tv. (Maybe a sports event ). But mostly music and conversation. That will be missed. This time of year was usually picking our drivers on the boat if not attending the race. That will be missed. Walking to each other's homes are dropping be unannounced often. Always welcome. That will be missed. So many things will be missed. Dan always has a smile on his face. We will miss him dearly. God bless him.

I just learned of Dan's death, and I'm both shocked and saddened by this news. We've been neighbors for many, many years, and he was always very kind and helpful. I'm sure I'm not speaking alone when I say that many of the residents here in Bridgewater at Geist will genuinely miss him!

I had the privilege of meeting my partner, Dan at a networking event. I was immediately impressed with his kind charming demeanor. He had a very endearing quality to him that made everyone want to be friends with him. Overall he was just a loving, loyal, kind soul. His smile, laugh and energy would light up a room esp with the jokes he loved to tell. Little did I know in less than a year after that networking event, I would have the privilege of sharing his life and home with him, and travel all around the world by his side. We shared the love of a lifetime that I will always treasure in my heart. I lovingly nicknamed him Mr. Worldwide.
Dan was more than a good man to me, he was also a dedicated father to his beautiful daughter. He was loyal to many life long friends and travel business relations. I have never seen a greater honest, hardworking business man as Dan Fields. His clients in the travel industry became he friends; he had friends all over the world. He often spoke of precious memories of industry friends with tears in his eyes. That's how much people that Dan loved meant to him. He felt their pain, their joys and their triumphs. He wanted the best for everyone. For those of us Dan left behind, he will be our guardian angel and I look forward to seeing him again. Until then I love you Dan; you will be missed. Thank you for leaving behind a legacy of friendship, loyalty, & love..................Mary

I was very sorry to hear of Dan's passing and extend my condolences to Mary, the woman who Dan loved, the woman that Dan chose to share his life and home with for the last two years. I always enjoyed all the pictures they shared with me and you could see how much Dan loved her. Mary, Dan was a lucky man to have you by his side holding his hand when he flew to the angels. God Bless you Mary.

Fields Family,

I I had the pleasure of traveling with Dan and Doug on many trips. Dan was a true professional and respected by all that worked with him.

I am so proud to have known Dan and remember him fondly.

My condolences to the family.

So very sad to see Daniel pass away far too soon. I appreciated every moment we spent together, often in the midst of crisis, but also with a confidence and Faith all would end well. Dan had an infectious smile, a gentle manner for such a big presence, and a laugh which could fill a room. May Our Lord comfort him in rest, and those of us left behind to be kind in our memories, and generous in our affections. Go in peace, my friend.

I first met Daniel & Doug doing a show with Eddie Rabbit.,He was very proffessional and a great guy.
We starting water skiing together some 18 years ago. He was a very accomplished slolum skier and a heck if a driver.
Always quick with a joke & had us constantly in stitches with laughter.
He was a great friend and confidant. Always there with good guidance and a helping hand. Got me through some tough times. I don't know that I'll ever get over the Loss of such a great Friend.
My heart & prayers goes out to his entire family.
Loved you Big Guy.

On behalf of the Potter family, please accept our sincere sympathies for Danny's passing. As has been noted by previous entries, we were so blessed to have a great neighborhood and wonderful neighbors to grow up with that have provided for beautiful memories. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were anxiously awaiting another Indianapolis 500 weekend that included the neighborhood bike race that ended with a gathering at the Seidel homestead! Doug - please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless - David Potter

I've known Danny his entire life. When he was old enough to walk he was following Doug (and me and the other neighborhood guys) just about everywhere we went. He was never whiny, always curious and always smiling so he was cool to hang with.

Danny's legacy in my life continues on and will always be with me. He introduced me to his good friend Jennifer who became my wife. His passing leaves a hole in both our hearts.
