Dean Messer Obituary

Dean A. Messer 44 of Greenwood passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007. He was born March 14, 1963 in Indianapolis to Herman L. and Darlene (Reinke) Messer. He was a plumber's technician for A R Jackson Plumbing in Greenwood. He attended Vineyard Community Church in Greenwood. We was completing his apprenticeship for his plumbing certification. He received his associates degree in business administration and associate degree in HVAC from Oakland City University. Survivors include his son Devery A. (Cassie McIver) Messer of Greenwood, mother Darlene (Reinke) Messer of Greenwood, brothers Darryl F. (Leah Mooney) Messer and Darin L. (Valerie Pafford) Messer both of Greenwood, a sister Carla S. (Stephen) Cameron of Georgetown, Texas, one grandchild, two nieces Jessica Messer, Shelby Messer; two nephews, Cameron Messer and Garrett Messer, and Devery's mother Dia Donoho of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his father Herman L. Messer. Reverend Daniel Jepsen and Reverned Charlie Cash will conduct a service Monday at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South Morton Street ( U.S. 31) in Franklin. Friends may call Monday from 3PM till service time at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vineyard Community Church 512 South Madison Avenue Greenwood, Indiana 46142 or the Franklin Community Church 2005 Upper Shelbyville Road Franklin, Indiana 46131.
