Doris Hickerson Obituary

Doris M. Hickerson 87, died January 12, 2005 in Aurora, Colorado. Born Feb. 7, 1917 in New Haven, Connecticut to Anna and Frederick J. Willis, she grew up and lived in Indianapolis until May 2004. She was preceded in death by four of her five siblings and her husband Lloyd D. Hickerson. Doris worked for the Indiana State Police in the 1960's. She had been a member of Brookside E.U.B. Church, Broad Ripple United Methodist Church, Patchwork Guild, Westfield Garden Club. She is survived by children Frank Clodfelder, Joyce Paramore, John Clodfelder and Janet Bretz; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and sister Gladys O'Brien. A memorial service will be held March 5, 10:30 a.m. in the Community Life Center at Washington Park Cemetery.
