Eleanor E. Whitlock
82, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 15, 2014. She was born on January 14, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Elvage and Genevieve (Cain) Hendricks.
Eleanor was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, and a 50+ year member of the Beech Grove Chapter #465 Order of the Eastern Star. She graduated from Emmerich Manual High School.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Donna Jenkinson, Alan (Therese) Whitlock, and Cheryl (David) Mosley; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. "Curly" Whitlock; and son, Bruce Whitlock.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19 in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Fu neral Home , 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Eleanor will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to National Parkinson Foundation.
