My earliest childhood memories include Eva. She was always part of our lives. My tonsillectomy, my wedding, my daughters' births, my parents 50th Anniversary, my daughter's graduation from high school, all included Eva, and often included one of her delicious treats. She knew how I loved her grape leaves! Our family used to call Eva and my mother "Lucy and Ethel." They were often up to some mischief! I remember holding baby Audrey when Eva became a grandmother and just stopping by Eva's house or the St, George Festival to visit with her. Eva, and her family, were our family, too. Eva was the kindest, sweetest, funniest, and most loving person I have been privileged to know. I love her dearly. She will be missed and never be forgotten. My condolences and prayers to Julie, Audrey, Leslie, and children. God bless all of you. I'm sorry I can't be with you today.
