I can't even begin to come up with words to describe the relationship "Aunt Jane" had with my family. The only time I ever saw her mad was when my Dad tried to burn down your house. She was only upset that she hadn't been outside to witness the debacle!!! There was no difference between my own mother and yours-and that's the greatest compliment I can give.
All the Conley's are saddened, yet comforted in knowing that 2 best friends are reunited in heaven.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all Jane's family. My parents, Charles and Vangel Johnson, were good friends of Ed and Jane and I remember her wonderful sense of humor. It was always fun having them as neighbors and friends. My mom used to play bridge with her often and they also had a great volley ball team together. She will be missed. My mother, Vangel, sends her regards as well. Marcia Johnson Miller and Vangel Johnson

What a wonderful person Jane was to all of us. I write this as my mom, Betty Lou Kyle, is in Florida for a bit of a vacation. My parents, John and Betty Lou and "Bad Jane" and Eddie shared such wonderful memories at The Belry. Those of us that remember all of the fun they all had will always treasure that in our hearts. And yet, Jane was really the one that kept all the reservations in tack, the one that kept the glue in order for all those theatrical persons. :) My mom, our mom (Johnny Kyle, Amy Kyle Bradburn and me, Kathy Kyle Abrell also knew that Jane was one of mom's closet pals. One that she loved and respected, and just enjoyed being around her. We will all miss her. Our best to all of us that loved her. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with her and all of you!

I often think of how fortunate I was to grow up where I did with such great neighbors. Although, I couldn't get away with anything for long. Between Jane, Norma Everett, Helen Brown, and my mom any childhood mischief on my part would soon be heating up the phone lines. I really was like growing up with multiple mothers! Jane was a bright spot in my life and the world will surely be a little dimmer in her absence. Sincere condolences from the Johnsons, Vangel, Marcia(Miller) ,Jerry, and Scott

I am remembering the many times that Jane was either cooking, watching soaps, or answering the phone for the Belfry reservations. We could not ask for better neighbors and it also came with memories of Dale, Aunt Fran, Uncle Jakie among others there for a IU game. I also got a lifetime pal from Dale introducing me to Sarah and her siblings. I miss her dearly and wish I was there with you all.

My deepest condolences on your loss. We have very fond memories of both Ed and Jane growing up. We always referred to her as "bad Jane" to differentiate her from the Jane Campbell the wife of Frank Campbell who was nicknamed "good Jane". We remember many a morning Ed's head popping through our kitchen window as we ate breakfast as he stopped by to see our Dad, Joe Howard. We always battled Jane for phone time whenever the Hoosiers were playing basketball.
She would always call my Dad to discuss the game. She was so sweet to all of us opon the passing of our parents. Jane was one of a kind! Our most sincere condolences, Mike and David Howard, sons of Joe and Dolly Howard

I'm very sorry to learn of Jane's passing away this weekend, she will be greatly missed.
I have many fond memories of Jane and Ed from both Barmore Dr. and Logan St., Jane and Ed always welcomed me with open arms when ever I'd show up and always with such a great sense of humor .
I think Jane and Ed were typical of what is called the greatest generation because they always made the best of whatever situation they were given and did it with a smile and humor and made it a point to always enjoy life .
Our most sincere condolences to all the family.
