Frank Corsaro Obituary
75, of Winter Haven, Florida, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away March 20th after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 24, 1941 to Anthony and Elizabeth Mahern Corsaro. Frank was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. He refereed high school basketball and CYO sports for many years. Frank was a former Marion County Assessor and retired from the Center Township Assessors office after over 20 years of service.
He is survived by his spouse Judy Van Hook Corsaro, his children Lisa Corsaro Straw and John (Paula) Corsaro. Also grandchildren Francesca Straw, Maxx, Madison and Mason Corsaro and great grandson Matthew Straw. He also is survived by step-children Kristi Woodfork, Karla Hamilton and six step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his sister Concetta Hughes and survived by his siblings Anthony (Mary Rae) Corsaro, Joseph (Sherri) Corsaro, William Corsaro, Eva Corsaro, Antoinette (Michael) Hood and Mark Corsaro.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Frank's memory may be made to the CYO of Indianapolis, Indiana.

I miss you grandpa every single day I think about you. I always talk about you to my girlfriend Savanna you would have loved her she's the sweetest. I miss the old Butler basketball games and the boat rides at Bass lake. I miss the stories you told me and the jokes you always repeated. I'm sorry you had to suffer the way you did at the end, but I know you're in a better place. Grandma is sick now and not doing great please show her guidance and support her through treatment. She loves you and misses you and so does everyone else. I love you grandpa I'll see you one day then we can do what used to do!

My grandfather was a great man,the very definition of strong; he fought up to his very last breath.
He distilled so many values and characters within me to pass down to his great grand child; his memory, values and love will never go unseen.

Frank was a caring brother and great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was always supportive of his family, relatives and friends. His battle with cancer was an inspiration to me as he fought and lived his life to the very end. I will cherish my memories of him.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Frank. Although he was not a personal friend of mine, he was a ref in several of our CYO games and our family members were friends. Rest in peace.

My brother will be truly miss. He was one. Strong man he lost his right hand in factory accident and learned to use his left hand and never gave up. Frank made is all laugh when we were all together. Love you brother and will miss you.
