Glenn D. Dearing
89, of Indianapolis, passed away December 24, 2011. He was born in Bethany, Missouri on September 2, 1922 to William and Mary (Marks) Dearing. Glenn served his country in the U.S. Army and was awarded four bronze stars. He had been a professional photographer in the Indianapolis area since 1955. Glenn was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church and the American Legion, Kennington Post.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. (Barnes) Dearing; sons, Glenn D. Dearing, Jr. (Kimberly) and Stanley E. Dearing; daughter, Linda K. Buter; brother, Virgil Lee Dearing; ten grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael D. Dearing; and brother, William "Bill" Dearing.
A visitation will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortu ary , 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Friday, December 30th from 3 to 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements by A.R.N. Cremation Services.
