Gloria Wayman

Greenwood - Gloria J. Wayman, 92, of Greenwood, passed away on December 4, 2018. She was born on January 8, 1926 in Columbus, IN to the late Hershel and Grace Barnes. She was a member of Tapestry Church, formerly Southport Christian Church. She was a loving, dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed taking care of her family. She also enjoyed cooking, preparing for Christmas with lots of cookies and traveling with her husband. Survivors include her children; daughter, Susan (Jack) Rubush; son, Kevin (Bobbi) Wayman; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Wayman, and her sister Norma. Visitation will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Tapestry Church, Greenwood. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ghherrmann.com
