Harold Vernon Robb

age 83, of Mooresville, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. He had lived many years in Indianapolis, Mooresville and Naples, FL. He was born February 4, 1932 in Indianapolis, the son of the late Harry and Sada Robb. Harold served in the US Army from 1952 to 1953 during the Korean War, where he was wounded by mortar fire and received a Purple Heart. He worked in Naples, Florida at Shaw Development as a Tool and Die maker for 30 years and also at E & W Mold in Indianapolis for over 20 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed boating and bowling. He is survived by his children, Karen (Mike) Miller of Mauckport, IN, Kathy Turner of Huntsville, AR, Rori (Jay) Watson of Greenwood, IN, Dena (Bud) Harris of Mooresville and Dale (Lisa) Hensley of Indianapolis; a brother, Don Robb of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Patricia (Norma) Rohrer of Nappanee, IN; a brother in law, Ray Chaney of Acton; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Miller Robb, whom he married on April 7, 1958 and she died on June 24, 2013. He was also preceded by a sister Mary Jane Chaney. Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville, IN, on Monday May 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Pastor John Reynolds officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will follow at Dale Cemetery.
