Hope Baugh Obituary
56, of Carmel, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Vincent's Hospital, 86th Street, Indianapolis. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Ned Peter Baugh and Sandra MacLaren Baugh and came here in 1974 from Midland, MI. She was the Young Adult Services Manager at Carmel Clay Public Library. She enjoyed interacting with students from Carmel Clay Schools. She also enjoyed performing as a storyteller and actor, writing reviews of theater productions and being an avid reader. Survivors include her father, Ned Peter Baugh, Indian Rocks Beach, FL, a sister, Bethany Jean Baugh, Indianapolis and a brother, Ned Thomas Baugh, Bloomington. Funeral services are Wednesday, October 11, 4:30 pm at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 4601 Emerson Avenue, Indianapolis. Interment service on Thursday, October 12, 10:00 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 6050 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted for the Hope Baugh Endowment, Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation, 55 4th Avenue SE, Carmel, IN 46032. Neptune Society Cremation Services, Indianapolis.

Hope, thank you for being an incredible librarian and educator. I can't express how important you were to me and so many young people growing up, but I know wherever you are now, you are giving the angels some great book and theater recommendations. Miss you already, Ivy.

I first met Hope online and then in person when she attended the Midwest Writers Workshop. She was such a great literary citizen in this state. I will miss her.
