James B. Koeberlein
86, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 31, 2012. James was born May 22, 1926 in Champaign County, Illinois, the son of the late Albert and Mary. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. James was the owner of Speedway Frozen Foods and manager of Koby Carwash. He was a charter member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he participated in any event that they held. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Justine; children, Mary Kay (Michael) Mitchell, Joe (Debbie) Koeberlein, Vince Koeberlein, Rose (Jeff) Munshaur, Pat Koeberlein, and Frank (Lara) Koeberlein; and 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 3 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1375 South Mickley Ave., with a calling being held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Friends may also visit the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd in Harry W. Moore Funeral Care and Crematory, 8151 Allisonville Rd. His final resting place will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements made by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory .
