Jane Boldrick Obituary

Jane Frances Boldrick

age 65, passed away on April 23, 2015 after a long battle with Chondrosacroma, a cancer of the pelvic bone. Jane was born on May 26, 1949, in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of Edward G. and Frances (Pulskamp) Moeller. She was raised on the family farm along with two brothers and two sisters. She attended Catholic Elementary schools and Oldenburg Academy for High School and earned a B.A. Degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, and a Masters of Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.

Jane is survived by her beloved husband Rafe, her stepdaughter Laura Boldrick Johnson and husband Neil, and their twin daughters, Betsy and Quinn who reside in Park City, Utah. A stepson, Raphael Boldrick resides in Dickson, TN. She is also survived by two sisters, Jacqueline Moorman (John), Abby (niece), Josh (nephew), of Villa Hills, Kentucky, Patricia Long (George) of Cape Coral, Florida, and one brother, Donald Moeller of Amargosa, Nevada. Her brother Mark predeceased her. She is also survived by a step family consisting of her stepmother, Coletta Leising Moeller, her sons: Ron (Kathy) Leising, William (Cindy) Leising, Thomas (Jenny) Leising, and Coletta's daughters, Judy Leising, and Sandra (Mark) Gutzwiller. A stepbrother, David Leising preceded her in death.

Jane taught 2nd Grade at Greensburg Elementary, Greensburg, Indiana for 37 years. She was proud of her teaching career and often said that she was honored to have had an opportunity to guide so many students, and in many cases, their children.

Jane and Rafe moved to The Villages in July, 2008. She worked at the Havana CC Golf Shop since it opened in 2008 and loved talking to the golfers and working with the Havana CC staff. She was a passionate golfer, carding three holes-in-one over an 18 month period on The Villages Championship courses. She was the first player to record a hole- in-one at the new Evans Prairie Golf Course. She took great pleasure in reminding her husband of her three holes-in-one to his lifetime zero.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E. CR 462, Wildwood, FL. 34785 on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception immediately following in the church annex. Following the reception, family members and friends may accompany Jane to Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL for services starting at 2:00 p.m. She will be buried in a Columbarium where she will await the arrival of her husband. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul in Jane's honor in lieu of flowers or Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162. Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society, 13753 N. U.S. Highway 441, Lady Lake, FL 32159 are in charge of the arrangements.

Rafe, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Everyone loved being around Jane as she was such a sweet and fun loving person. I'm sure your heart is filled with wonderful memories. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
