Janet O. Bledsoe
78, passed away February 16, 2012. She was born August 4, 1933 to the late Ross W. and Emma James. She married Carl P. Bledsoe on Oct. 31, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2004.
Survivors include; children, Phil, Carla (Fred), Mark, Cheryl (Scott); 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Emma Jean Endsley, John R. (Aggie) James, Webb (Ann) James, Tubb (Donna) James, Tom (Phyllis) James, Latisha Autison, Sandra Sue (Tom) Ames. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Francis "Frankie" James, Doris Johnson and Patricia James and brother, Robert M James.
Janet graduated from Van Buren High School.
Janet touched a lot of people and changed a lot of lives. She was mom to many and grannie to all. Janet was endlessly involved with anything that had to do with children. Her greatest joy was watching children play.
Friends may call Monday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.

It was an honor to meet and care for Janet in the last days of her life. She was truly a joy to be with and it is obvious she was a wonderful mother as she raised wonderful children. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
