She was born in Anderson, MO. She lived most of her life in Indianapolis, IN before moving to Lee in 2001. She loved to shop and give. She retired from Wonder Bread Bakeries. She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Koester of Lee; 3 daughters, Janet Lynn Cook and husband Mike of New Castle, IN, Tamera Sue Mundy and husband Allen of Sibley, MO, and Connie Sue Newport and husband Gary of Lee, FL; 1 sister Rosemary Wood and husband Frank of Lee, FL; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by 2 brothers Gene Land and James Land 1 sister Pancy Baker.
