Jeffrey A. Kaviak Sr.

Indianapolis - Jeffrey A. Kaviak Sr., 63, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on September 29, 2018.

He was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Beech Grove, where he was an usher. He was employed for over 20 years with Hill & Griffith in Indianapolis. He was a member of the VVA and was an organ donor.

Jeff served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.

He was a devoted husband, father, brother, pop pop, and friend.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda R. (Fraser) Kaviak of Indianapolis; 4 sons, Charles J. (Kelly) Benson of St. Louis, MO, Robert A. (Anne) Benson of Greenboro, NC, Jeffrey A. Kaviak Jr., and Steven M. Kaviak both of Indianapolis; a daughter, Kimberly A. (Luis) Torrres of Indianapolis; 2 brothers, John M. (Analida) Kaviak and Joseph E. (Laney) Kaviak; 2 sisters, Cheryl (Don) Gargus and Karen E. Davis; 16 beautiful grandchildren and 2 precious great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 89 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the Marion National Cemetery, with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the United States Marine Corps Funeral Detail.
