I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one and my deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.

To my Friends and Family who have known or heard me speak of John Mote: It is with great sadness I share, I received a phone call this morning from Dr. Tom Mote, that his father, John Mote, my very dear friend, passed away last Saturday, February 24, 2018. John served as the Vice President of Human Resources Administration at University Medical Center (UMC) in Tucson, AZ for I recall, a little over 5 years. Shortly after he was hired, I was interviewed & offered the position of John's Executive Assistant. Prior to John's appointment at UMC in Tucson, he served in hospital administration at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for 23 years, 8 years at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, CA, where he was acting CEO and then his 5 and one-half years at UMC in Tucson before retiring. My time spent working for and with John for the 5 and one-half years prior to his retirement was challenging and rewarding. John was a well educated, intelligent, creative, professional, respectable, fair-minded, but with the highest of standards, man of integrity, who truly cared about the employees of UMC, his family, and people in general. When John retired from UMC I lost a most wonderful Administrator and Boss. After hearing from Tom today, I am deeply saddened as I have lost a most wonderful counselor and friend. I am so thankful my husband Steven & I were able to visit John a few years back in Indiana, have a meal together, & enjoy his company. I am so thankful for all of the telephone visits we had over the years, the last one being only a few weeks ago. Thank you John for being a part of my life. I know how much you told me you were looking forward to being reunited with your beautiful wife Florence. I am so happy you're again together. I will so miss you John! Your Friend, Ann Leland

Sorry to hear of John's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
