John Oglesby Obituary

John P. Oglesby 47, Fishers, passed away June 7, 2005. He was born April 24, 1958 in Hopkins County, KY. John was a Sales Manager for Thompson for 20 years. He was a member of the Church at the Crossing and an active member of their choir. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Rd., with visitation Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be in Madisonville, KY on Friday, June 10 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Barnett & Strothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the visitation in Grapevine Cemetery. John was the loving husband of Patty Cartwright Oglesby, and loving father of Natalie and Hannah Oglesby. Other survivors include his sister, Chandra Cash, and brother, Thomas Dillingham. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Ruby Oglesby, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Crossing Building Fund.
